Design & Communications Coordinator
Cambridge University Students' Union (CUSU) is recruiting for a talented graphic designer to grow and develop a credible, visible membership identity for a representative organisation that has a national campaigning profile.
CUSU is constantly changing and developing as an organisation, and instrumental to our progress will be our ability to connect with our membership, demonstrate real impact from the work we do for students, and increase our exposure across the University community. As a membership body we must establish trusted relationships with our members who must be informed and must inform the work that we do; the Design and Communications role will bring flair as well as pragmatism to this exciting challenge.
The ideal candidate will be inventive in design, decisive and prompt in approach, and able to turn ideas into graphical and written that our students will want to engage with. The role-holder will be proficient at administering online platforms and have an understanding of new media and communications in relation to student-use today; they will have a comprehension of how a member-led organisation should want to communicate with its membership and be passionate about telling our members about the charity's work.
