Accountant - Financial Services

Capital Accountant We are currently looking for a qualified accountant to join a top financial services business in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to join a business going through continue growth and the need for additional support during times of vast change. Responsibilities/skill set; Qualified accountant - with a CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualification. Intermediate excel - able to deal with a spreadsheet with macros and complex formulas. Regulatory knowledge - ideally of CRDIV and Capital. A solid understanding of Capital rules (CRD IV) and requirements governing Investment firms. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Support the Capital Manager in producing the ICAAP and embed a quarterly refresh process in line with the Capital Management Framework (weekly/monthly MI) Review and monitor regulatory rules to ensure that the internal control framework is fully aligned, and that associated documentation and processes are updated to reflect changes. Production of FCA Regulatory returns e.g. Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
