A vacancy has arisen within our client's Building Division for a Regional Installations Manager who would have responsibility for the Supply and Fit operation in the South Midlands region along the M1 corridor between Leicester and Milton Keynes so the ideal candidate must live within the Northampton area.

This senior role will involve delivering a high level of service to their customers by managing the installation process on allocated sites, as well as managing a team of Area Installation Managers and Sub Contract Fitters. This role will cover a yet to be defined region but will involve travel throughout the area and will involve regular overnight stays.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Managing the installations to meet the demanding quality and service requirements.
• Ensuring regional performance targets are achieved.
• Ensuring the level of available sub-contract labour is maintained to provide service to installation areas within region.
• Providing support and identifying and delivering training requirements to your team by means of regular one to one accompaniment.
• Planning, preparation and delivery of regional performance data.
• Administrative duties in accordance with the role.

Experience of working within fast track building processes and the furniture industry, together with knowledge of installations are essential for this position. A hands-on approach coupled with determination and excellent interpersonal skills will also be required and very much a willingness to learn on your feet. Experience of managing a team would be preferred but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels. They will have excellent organisational and numerical skills, be self-motivated and willing to work as part of and lead a dynamic team. They will be computer literate, able to work under pressure, maintain deadlines and be personally presentable at all times. They must hold a full UK driving licence, as travel within the area and whenever necessary throughout the UK will be required.
