We're recruiting - Fast Track Drivers!
Join Sainsbury's Argos as a Fast Track driver and be a hero to our customers by delivering our award winning Fast Track Delivery offer.
This isn't just a role that delivers products. It's about being the face of Sainsbury's Argos to our customers. Yes we want people who are vigilant and great behind the wheel but you need to be more than that, we're looking for colleagues who are:
Customer focused - You will need to care about giving customers that superior customer experience, after all they are what our business is built around. But don't worry if you haven't much experience - we will put you through high quality training to ensure you can be the best you can when you work for us
Team player - You need to love working in a fun, fast-paced team environment both in store and on the road. Most of the time you will be out on the road but you will also be expected to pick products for home delivery, loading the van, and also you may be asked to work on the sales floor or collection point
Friendly - Everybody loves a friendly hello and smile, it goes a long way
Happy & motivated- You have to be happy and motivated in what you do; in store and out on the road
Proud - We want someone who takes a real pride in delivering that store to door experience
Calm under pressure - When all around are losing theirs can you keep your cool? Can you deliver to our customers within set time slots? We give you a little helping hand as we have advanced routing technology which means over 98% of customer orders are delivered on time successfully!
Energised - Someone who has bags of energy and just wants to get things done even when the demand for our Fast Track service is high. Don't worry though, you won't be delivering items that weigh more than 25kg
You will also need the following:
Full UK Driving licence - you don't need to have a specialist licence
Minimum of 1 years driving experience - that doesn't have to be a driving job either
No serious driving convictions
Be ok with the size of the van - a Mercedes Sprinter
And for all of that we offer:
Rate of pay as advertised above
15-30 hours per week
A range of different shifts
You'll only be driving to local postcodes which means you will be working within your local community
