Are you currently enrolled on a PGCE for September 2018 and would like to utilise this academic year, working as a maths teaching assistant in a successful and well-resourced secondary school?

Could you inspire these students?
This school are looking for someone who has recently graduated with a Maths related degree. Ideally you will have a 2:1 or above with a good academic record. This role would suit a graduate who has previous experience of tutoring and working with pupils. The school would like to see someone with a natural ability for working with pupils and is keen to begin a career in education.
During the course of the academic year, you will assigned specifically to the Maths department. You will play a key role in the schools intervention strategy, supporting C/D borderline pupils delivering booster sessions and 1:1 support! You will get stuck in and help teachers to plan exciting lessons and bring new ideas to the table. Under the guidance of the supportive Head of Department you will receive plenty of training. You will also be working with other talented graduates in the same position as you.
This fantastic school is located in an accessible position from both Bradford and Leeds. The school serves a diverse catchment area with a higher than average proportion of Pupil Premium students. The modern and newly built school has excellent resources for students and teachers.
