Technical Authors Required for contracting positions working onsite at our premises.
Hourly rate competitive (depending upon experience)
Contract Terms - rolling
We are seeking experienced Support Engineers who have an avionic background in the aerospace industry.
Tasks will included but not be limited to -
The production of writing and amending technical manuals/documents relating to military helicopters.
Assisting with the production of customer instructions to support the aircraft.
The assessment, analysis and development of operational, engineering, maintenance and provisioning data.
The production of modification leaflets / service bulletins, provision of technical publications data from a variety of sources.
Compilation of technical data into both hard and soft copy.
To be successful for this role, you will hold working experience of the following -
Knowledge within the aerospace industry is essential.
Experience of military helicopters such as Lynx, EH101/Merlin, AW159.
Hold relevant experience in a related subject.
To have either worked within a technical publication area previously or will have amended/ written technical documents or manuals.
Experience of using technical publications or experience of writing / amending manuals / documentation associated with the aerospace industry is essential.
Knowledge of AECMA Simplified English is essential.
Experience in one or more of the following areas - Airframes, engines, hydraulics and transmission.
Knowledge of ilog application is desirable.
Keyboard skills; a working knowledge of PC's and computer system applications.
Have excellent interpersonal / written and spoken communication skills, the ability to make sound technical assessments/judgments based on knowledge and experience, self motivated and must be able to work as part of an integrated team.
On the job training will be provided.
Basic Security clearance will be required for this position, this is not essential on initial application.
