YAC Volunteer Coordinator

Fixed term contract for 1 year
£23,000 per annum (pro-rated)

YMCA DownsLink Group is recruiting for a part time Volunteer Coordinator for its busy Youth Advice Centre (YAC). 

The role will responsible for the recruitment, training and support of volunteers to assist with the delivery of YAC’s drop-ins and young people’s activities offering advice, guidance and support to young people aged 13 to 25 years olds around a wide variety of issues affecting the well-being of young people. This includes mental health and wellbeing support, sexual health services, debt and benefits advice as well as a wide range of other support areas and signposting.

We are looking to recruit a skilled and qualified individual who has previous volunteer management experience, experience working with young people and has a good knowledge of local services and local strategic developments.
