Hays Procurement have two Senior Buyer jobs within a highly regulated organisation within the Bristol area. The reason for this job is due to the restructuring of the procurement team.

Your new role

As the senior Buyer you will be responsible for the full procurement life cycle, including development of sourcing opportunities, support to purchasing and ongoing supplier performance management. in the role you will be focused on the sourcing, evaluation and negotiation of goods and services contracts and agreements of strategic importance to the business.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will need to have experience in a Procurement role, ideally within a regulated environment (e.g. public sector or utilities). A strong commercial and strategic mind-set; understanding the role of Procurement in delivering corporate goals and managing risk.
