Are you a qualified 2nd Fix Carpenter looking for a long run of work in Bath? Would you enjoy working with a company which can provide varied contracts? This could be the ideal contract for you! Paying GBP16 per hour.
The Company
The company are a well established contractor covering the South West and Midlands. They work on several Social Housing and Public Sector Maintenance contracts.
The Contract
The initial contract you will be working on will be all second fix works in communal areas of residential flats.
Duties will include:
- Doors, skirting and architraves
- Stud walling
- All 2nd Fix Carpentry works
The company work 40 hours a week: 7:45 - 16:15 Monday - Friday with 30 minutes break.
Fuel expenses will be compensated through additional hours.
This contract starts as a temporary contract, but will lead to a permanent position for the ideal candidate.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in 2nd fix carpentry works and will be happy to turn their hand to other trades. Experience in social housing will be beneficial.
You will require:
- City & Guilds Carpentry & Joinery
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Van and Tools
If you do not have your Asbestos Awareness certificate we can assist you to achieve your certificate.
