Activate Learning is the lead sponsor for a school multi-academy trust (MAT) comprising of The Bicester School, Bicester Technology Studio, UTC Oxfordshire, UTC Reading and UTC Swindon. We are proud of our schools’ achievements and can boast a track record of success, school improvement and Ofsted validation.

We are seeking to appoint to a new role of ‘Schools Data Manager’ that will work across the MAT by working inside each of these schools to drive up understanding, compliance, use and analysis of the rich data that we possess.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent IT and problem solving skills who has the ability to influence others and work in a team whilst displaying high levels of attention to detail and accuracy. You will report to the Activate Learning Reporting Team but work on a daily basis with the Senior Leadership team in each school. As such, you will show the ability to be self-directed with initiative and to be able to solve practical problems without supervision. The purpose of the role is to ensure all schools in the MAT record data in a consistent and efficient manner, ensure all schools in the MAT have the necessary information to monitor performance and drive improvements at all levels and to provide data collection and reporting solutions.

You will be based in central Oxford, travelling and working from school campuses on a regular basis. Activate Learning offers a generous holiday allowance and access to the local government pension scheme, and staff can take advantage of excellent on-site facilities.

Salary: £27,799 - £30,373 per Annum
