Job Title: Test Engineer - Electrical/Electronics
Location: UK-Leicestershire-Loughborough

Join us as an Test Engineer at our labs based in on the Loughborough University campus where we test both consumer and industrial electrical, electronic and gas products.
Responsibilities:
This role offers real diversity and variety, where one minute you'll be in the lab undertaking some precision measurements and the next you'll be at our client's manufacturing facility, managing a time critical testing projects. Typical products that you'll be testing would be emergency lighting, street lighting and some control units for lighting.
Strong communication and project management skills are at the heart of this role. You'll have constant interaction and engagement with clients at a variety of levels, from technicians to Directors. This role also offers the possibility of travel overseas.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you'll need the skills to build relationships with our clients, understand their requirements and then deliver this work autonomously. You'll be managing multiple projects so strong project management skills are a must. With this you'll need to use your strong interpersonal skills to confidently present findings to our clients about their products.
Ideally you'll be qualified to Degree Level in engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronics etc) and have the ability to manage your own workload, project plan and meet deadlines.
In addition you'll be:

*Proactive and flexible
*Great attention to detail
*Work under minimal supervision

We offer a highly competitive starting salary of up to GBP28,000.
