Market Leading Builders Merchant requires an ambitious Branch Manager with experience of working in a trade merchants or a similar industry, to join their flagship Kendal branch paying up to £35,000 basic OTE £50,000 with a company car.
Our client is one of the biggest brands in the building and construction industry, they offer their customer the best products and choice. They are a multi-billion pound turnover business and can offer you excellent career prospects and training. Due to their ever expanding business this brand is now looking to recruit an experienced Branch Manager with a strong interest in the trade and construction industry, to expand the growth of the flagship Branch.
The successful Branch Manager will be rewarded with a very competitive basic salary with a huge bonus potential. In addition they are offering an excellent training and development plan.
It is a flagship branch so we are looking for a high profile leader who can make the difference and get the best out of the large team.
As Branch Manager you will be responsible for driving the day to day growth of your business - through building relationships internally and externally. You will be commercially aware, with the ability to influence your team and drive sales.
The role is heavily operational due to the complex team in the branch. The Branch Manager will get involved in the high profile sales and client meetings.
The ideal candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the builder’s merchant industry and the kinds of products we sell. You will also need a very good understanding of the requirements of our customers in order to provide great service, with experience of managing a diverse team. Experience managing a large team would be a huge advantage, but full training would be given to the right candidate. You need to be energetic, proactive and strong characters in order to succeed in the position and develop the Branch as your own business.
