Housing and Care 21 is a leading national provider of retirement housing and care services for people aged 55 and above. We deliver affordable, contemporary, person-centred care and housing that meets individual needs, improves wellbeing and promotes independent living.

We are a not-for-profit organisation and operate in over 150 local authority areas-managing around 19,000 Retirement and Extra Care apartments and provide over 80,000 hours of care each week to more than 31,000 customers.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Category Buyer to join our Procurement department on a permanent full time basis, where you will provide support in the development of strategic sourcing models, as well as options for the annual sourcing programme. You will also take a lead in small value (sub OJEU) tender exercises.

As the successful candidate, you will be educated to A-Level standard, or have two years experience in a commercial or business environment. With an interest in pursuing a career in procurement, you will have strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, and ideally will have experience in managing procurement projects, although this is not essential.
