e are now recruiting A Traffic Sampler at Norwich Mail Centre.

Job reference number 76091

As a Traffic Sampler you will be key in the supporting and gathering of data from a number of sampling schemes within a Mail Centre.

Standards and methodology must be followed while you;

  • Carry out Mails Characteristics Survey (MCS) sampling, as per specification, inputting the results accurately to the MCS data capture form
  • Carry out sampling of Average Container Fills (ACF) to specification.
  • Container Counts and Secondary Sort Counts to Specification.
  • Carry out Machine Accuracy Checks (MAC) to specification
  • Support the communication and implementation of revised systems of traffic measurement, sharing good practice where necessary.
  • Work as directed by Line Manager.

Pay and Benefits

You will be paid weekly, increments at 6 months and 12 months are subject to satisfactory performance.


Starting Salary

Age 17 GBP7.40 + 6 months months

Age 18 GBP9.51 GBP10.09 GBP10.57

Hours of work: 18 hours per week, working 3 days across Monday - Friday 19:00 - 06:00

Contract - fixed term 12 months

Core hours will be over Evening / Night shifts but you will be required to perform adhoc early shifts

Flexibility is essential as start and finish times may vary depending on workload, and you may also be required to work in other offices in the area.
