One of the world’s leading embedded solution providers, our client resolves problems for a huge range of industry sectors through their exceptional product portfolio, applications and support services. They are now looking for a Sales Trainer to join their team and work across the EMEA region.
If you are a sales training professional with a good level of direct, field based enterprise sales experience and coaching experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to consolidate your skill-set and take on an exciting, permanent role.
Having been heralded as one of the top ten organisations to sell for in 2016 by a leading sales industry magazine, our client has certainly created a buzz around their processes and Sales Team. Now, they are looking to push the boundaries forward and ensure that their teams stay on top – and that’s where you come in.
So, if you think differently and can impart your wisdom to field sales professionals and application engineers, this is the role you’ve been waiting for. You’ll be empowered to develop and thrive and will join a supportive, collaborative and professional working environment where change is embraced and continuous improvement is the norm.
As a Sales Trainer, you will be tasked with supporting our client’s field teams across the EMEA area.
Specifically, you will provide training, workshops, coaching and client account reviews with the view of reframing the Field Team to focus more on the creation of value for customers, the freedom to innovate and the two-way nature of conversations.
You will design, deliver and maintain sales training programmes in multiple formats including both virtual and classroom environments. Supporting ‘boot camp’ training, you will identify and develop material and train sales staff on sales messaging tools.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Delivering sales courses in multiple formats
- Utilising feedback to modify courses and instructional methods
- Establishing relationships with personnel to enable you to easily facilitate and lead group efforts
- Providing skills assessment evaluations
- Acting as the subject matter expert for all sales training, sales processes and systems
Interested? If so, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience of direct, field based enterprise sales
- At a minimum, two years’ sales training experience (classroom and/or web training)
- At least one year’s coaching experience, including coaching sales leaders in adopting sales processes and/or methods (not product sales)
- A valid passport
The ideal Sales Trainer will have experience with enterprise sales and methodologies, such as: Value Selling, SPIN Selling, Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual Selling and LAMP, Challenger Sales, industry trends and cycles, completing Sales Cycles (Lead > Negotiation> Close) and/or pipeline management and forecasting capability.
Fluency in a second European language, in addition to English, would also be beneficial to your application.
