We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our existing team to provide a high quality, effective and responsive administrative support service. In particular, this role is responsible for the administration support to our Asset Manager and wider Housing Team. The successful candidate will provide reception cover, dealing with the general public both face to face and over the telephone answering queries and logging and ordering repair requests. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for our waiting list ensuring initial enquiries and housing applications are dealt with appropriately.
The successful candidate will be expected to have an understanding of working in a customer focused environment and have:
- Previous experience of working in a busy office.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, demonstrated by appropriate level of education.
- Excellent team working abilities.
- A systematic approach to work with the ability to organise themselves and others.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and meet defined targets.
