Head of Legal
Leeds Building Society is looking for a Head of Legal to join our Finance Division, based at our Head Office in the heart of Leeds city centre.
About the role
The newly appointed Head of Legal will have responsibility for managing the strategic and operational aspects of the Society's Legal function. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the Legal Services team and will provide legal advice and support to other business areas.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor and qualified to degree level
- Significant experience in a regulatory legal field
- Experience of drafting, reviewing and agreeing commercial contracts
- Senior level stakeholder experience
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Retail financial services experience in a legal capacity
