Contract Manager
£400 p/day (Contract Initially 6 months*)

A well-known international telecommunications company is looking for a driven, dynamic and collaborative Contract Manager for their office based in Dublin. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to maximise contract development and management of all contractual documents, working in partnership with the Sourcing Specialist, Suppliers, internal Business & Legal Departments to negotiate and develop robust legal and commercial terms & conditions with suppliers.


The role is predominantly split across both Contract Development & Contract Compliance.

Contract Development;

* Review supplier requests for changes to the terms and conditions of contracts, assess risk of implementing changes, and recommend a response strategy
* Provide leadership in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers
* Act as the liaison and provide leadership among the Sourcing Specialist; Business Partner; the Legal Team and the suppliers
* Negotiate contract issue resolution with suppliers, securing final approval of the appropriate agreements
* Resolve and respond to contractual related supplier issues and/or questions
* Clarify and negotiate complex sourcing contractual issues and / or other supplier concerns
* Interpret contractual rights and obligations to the business partner / sourcing specialist

Contract Compliance;

* Ensure that the current standard language, including updated terms and conditions is added to all contracts as appropriate
* Manage supplier dispute resolution through formal or informal dispute resolution channels
* Review and interpret sourcing and corporate policy requirements
* Responsible for consultation and escalation to senior management of current and potential issues

Key Skills:

* Degree level or equivalent
* CIPS qualified
* The successful candidate should have relevant experience in a Contract Management / Sourcing commercial environment for at least 6+ years
* Demonstrated experience negotiating & managing agreements with significant annual spend
* Leading sourcing processes
* Strong interpersonal and client-service skills
