Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) is the leading user-led national charity supporting individuals who sustain damage to the spinal cord, often resulting in paralysis. We are a passionate organisation with over forty years' experience of providing high impact, quality services for spinal cord injured people and their families.

We need to recruit a Community & Challenge Fundraising Officer to join our busy Fundraising team.

Community & Challenge Fundraising Officer
Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary and Benefits: GBP22,500 per annum plus pension scheme, life cover and 28 days' annual leave (excluding Bank Holidays)

The role requires some work outside normal office hours which will be compensated through time off in lieu.

With a can-do attitude, a sense of fun and a flair for creativity and innovation, you will support the Community & Challenge Fundraising Manager, coordinating our own fundraising activities and supporting individuals participating in external events. You will develop and manage relationships with individuals, groups or associations working in support of SIA.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of community fundraising (either paid or voluntary) and of working with volunteers or within a volunteering environment. They will understand the principles of good supporter care, be a confident self-starter with a positive attitude, and possess excellent interpersonal, planning, IT and time management skills.
