At Essex & Suffolk Water our job is to supply clean, clear drinking water that tastes good to the homes and businesses of 1.8 million customers.

We are currently looking for someone that has the skills and knowledge to be a credible Senior Technician to support the Customer Field Services Team in Essex. You’ll already have an excellent knowledge of the water network and/or leakage detection methods and will be looking for a new role to apply, extend and develop that knowledge.

Reporting to one of our Area Managers, you will support the technical management of a team of Customer Field Service technicians working across our area of supply. You will use your technical skills and knowledge to support our team in resolving issues on our water network and actively search for leaks, helping to coach them to solve problems and leading by example in areas such as Health and Safety, Network Issues and Customer Service.

You will have the ability to communicate at all levels in a range of settings, coaching and helping to develop a team of field based technicians, you’ll provide advice and encouragement to the team and be a point of contact when they need support ensuring first class Customer Service continues to be delivered.
