LOCATION: Hambleton, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire
JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to GBP22,000 DOE + use of company vehicle (relocation assistance) + pension + time off in lieu
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8 - 5pm.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a family run business established in 1986 and based in Hambleton, currently with a team of 9 employees. They manufacture and install very high end specialist glass for a wide variety of purposes, working primarily for interior designers and architects in the hospitality and private residential sectors, throughout the UK and abroad.
They have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Coordinator to join their team!
THE ROLE: As a Project Coordinator you will be completing weekly planning of production with management.
Key duties/responsibilities for the Project Coordinator role:-
• Weekly Gantt chart updates - identifying conflict of resources according to all Project
• plans
• Daily meetings with Studio management to update production progress and priorities
• Order acknowledgement to customer, detailing project deliverables and timeline
• Attending project handover from sales to production
• Overall responsibility for Project correspondence with client/client team on lead times, site access, approvals, etc.
• Supply chain management for Project purchases
• V.O. identification - ensuring additional work outside project plan is captured
• Bi-weekly WIP costing; budget review per project with management team - updating Finance with completion percentage
• Strategic change - as part of the business' Strategy objectives - continuous improvement
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Project Coordinator role will be process driven with excellent timekeeping skills. You must have good communication and numeracy skills. You will have excellent attention to detail, be methodical and presentable at all times. You must live within a commutable distance to Hambleton or be willing to relocate.
Key experience essential for the Project Coordinator role:-
• Strong Microsoft Project skills, or equivalent software
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel
