Project Manager
We are looking for a confident and experienced individual to project manage a scheme set to deliver Social Innovation by revolutionising the support and befriending for older adults, to the partial resource relief of the NHS and Local Authority Adult Services.
The concept of G&TC was awarded seed funds from Innovate UK that are helping the scheme to establish itself. The project is based on the idea of creating a Care Savings Account to bank the hours of care that each member of G&TC accrues by providing care to other Partners of the scheme. The project has made good progress since its inception in February 2016. The successful candidate will replace the current project manager who has been in post for the last 15 months.

- Salary: £40K to £45K per annum depending on experience + pension

The Project Manager is key to overseeing project timelines and ensuring all work packages are delivered to quality, on time and within budget. The Project Manager also coordinates different and parallel streams of work.
The perfect candidate will be used to managing projects involving a range of stakeholders, keeping to deadlines and ensuring the project stays on track and delivers the desired objectives. It also requires real excitement at the prospect of initiating a step-function in the way we behave towards elderly people.
The post includes managing a substantial budget and reporting formally to our sponsor every quarter. The Project Manager will continue processes to manage the project ensuring clear communications to all stakeholders and quality project outputs. The Project Manager will advise/support the team on a daily basis.
This post reports directly to the G&TC Directors, Prof Heinz Wolff and Dr Gabriella Spinelli.
