Are you a qualified Carpenter experienced with 2nd Fix works? Are you looking for a long run of work in Bristol? This could be the ideal contract for you! Paying GBP16 per hour.
The Contract
You will be working on the University facilities and student accommodation carrying out 2nd fix carpentry works. Facilities will include workshops, lecture theatres and communal areas.
Duties will include:
* Doors, skirting and architraves
* Furniture repairs and fit out
* Flooring
* Windows
The company work 8:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours with opportunities for overtime.
This is a temporary contract for 2 months, but the company are looking to take on 2 permanent members of staff at the end of the temporary period.
The company are able to provide transport during working hours.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in carpentry on commercial properties.
You will require:
* City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery
* CSCS Card
* Asbestos Awareness
* Own tools and PPE
If you do not have your Asbestos Awareness, we can assist you to achieve your certificate.
