Description
The school seeks to appoint a Clerk to Governors to start in September/October 2017 to provide an efficient and professional service to our Governing Body. Duties will include attendance and Minute taking at all Governing Body meetings, preparing Agendas, receiving correspondence, circulating papers, and guiding the Chair of Governors and School on all procedural matters.
Training can be provided. You will need to have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, be confident in using ICT and be able to maintain confidentiality. Governor meetings generally take place on a Thursday late afternoon/early evening, however there are likely to be other occasional meetings on top of these to support other duties. Applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS.
Hours are 145 per annum (worked flexibly). Scale - NJC Grade D.
