Our client owns and manages just under 6000 homes.
They are currently seeking a Tenancy Services Officer to join their team based in Redhill, Surrey.
This role is key to delivering the objectives in their strategic plan, ensuring they provide a cost effective, tailored service to meet customer needs and aspirations.
You will manage a geographical patch of properties and estates, working with customers from signing their new tenancy throughout their customer journey.
Key tasks include:
Working with the voids and lettings teams, undertaking sign-ups and tenancy visits for all new tenancies
Processing tenancy changes in accordance with legislation and procedures
Encourage mobility and managing moves including home swaps and emergency moves, processing terminations and dealing with sensitive issues such as death of a tenant
Manage low level ASB / neighbourhood issues, providing an excellent estate management service, ensuring that all actions are followed up and customer kept informed of outcomes
The successful candidate will have relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role. You will have an understanding of housing management along with knowledge and experience of managing tenancies and neighbourhoods. You will be a skilled communicator who is confident when liaising at all levels and you will inspire confidence by communicating in a timely way. You must be open, honest and hardworking with a positive approach to work and life and you will be clear about team objectives, celebrating success when these are achieved.
