We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Warehouse Assistant to be based in our Prologis site near Heathrow.
Reporting to the picking Team Leader and Supervisor, you will form part of the picking team, help ensuring that every thing has been laid out for the picking team. You will also need to step in palletisers role when needed ensuring that everything has been placed onto correct pallets ready for despatching. You will also help the department meet all its targets and maintain standards.
Duties & responsibilities
• Making sure that all lines are set up for the pick
• Setting up the area in sequence to the pick sheets
• Follow Health & Safety policy
• Clearing the area as you go
• Reporting lines to Team Leaders
• Ensuring standards are maintained at all times
• Covering for the Supervisor as and when required
The ideal candidate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Computer skills
• Food hygiene and safety knowledge
• The ability to follow procedures thoroughly
• Health & Safety awareness
• Route Knowledge
