An exciting opportunity has emerged for a talented and driven B2B marketing all-rounder to take the lead on all marketing activity for an innovative and exciting part of the Experian business, Experian Marketing Services.
Who are Marketing Services?
Experian Marketing Services helps brands deliver better customer experiences by providing relevant insight, expertise and technology to help them communicate effectively and with relevance.
The Targeting element focuses on helping clients understand more about their customers and supports them in using that data to deliver more relevant and effective experiences and journeys. Key products include the Mosaic segmentation tool, the ConsumerView database and the newly updated Financial Strategy Segments (FSS for short).
We are looking for a talented all-rounder who is just as happy wading through marketing data as writing copy, sending email campaigns and hammering out propositions. As the main point of contact for a significant part of the business excellent stakeholder management is a must.
This marketing manager will be responsible for creating a calendar of activity aligned to the business priority areas and targeted at driving growth in key areas. It is not possible to do everything so an ability to prioritise is a necessity.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, who is based in London, the role requires someone who is self-motivated, driven and capable of working independently to targets when required.
Some level of people management experience would be preferred. The role includes responsibility for the team's marketing exec so would be perfect for an individual with some experience looking to develop further.

What is a Marketing Manager at Experian responsible for?
You will be given plenty of support whilst you get to know us, and this role comes with huge scope and a variety of responsibilities for you get your teeth into. You can expect to be responsible for the following:
Planning
Create and run a marketing calendar that delivers activity that helps the business achieve its goals in its priority areasBuild nurture streams and implement automated content delivery and lead scoring for key areasPlan marketing support and requirements for new product releases and updatesCreate a plan of activity to deliver product marketing for key areas of the business
Product marketing
Scope out and deliver product marketing material for key products and capabilities, prioritising focus areas and highlighted growth opportunitiesWork with the product teams to develop value propositions for key areas
Reporting and analysis
Provide (brief) weekly updates on business unit performance and ongoing marketing activityDeliver and own monthly KPI reports for the key indicators you are responsible forAnalyse activity and tailor output to optimise future performance
Teamwork and leadership
Manage a junior member of the team and have responsibility for their performance, development and day-to-day activitiesPlay a senior role in the wider Experian marketing communityDevelop a good relationship with other Experian business unitsProvide guidance and support to junior members of the team who are not in your direct reporting line and stand in for the head of marketing when required
