Water Hygiene Technician
GBP22k-GBP25k Base Salary (depending on experience) + Van + Benefits.
Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced NVQ Level 2 Plumber to train into a new position as a Water Hygiene / Legionella Technician and join one of our clients who specialise within the Plumbing and Heating industry.
Location - you'll need to be based in the Kent or East Sussex region, ideally Maidstone area however exact location isn't essential depending on experience.
The Role:
- Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
- Carry out work in line with the Water Technical Manual's guidance to safe systems of work.
- Maintain customer's water log books in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company guidelines.
- Remedial plumbing tasks & be familiar with a wide range of domestic and commercial water systems.
- Confident to work with a range of materials and carry out basic installations (TMV's, DCV's, mains conversions, etc).
Skills Required:
- Ideally NVQ Level 2 Qualified Plumber - with an interest in being trained into a Water Hygiene Technician.
- Will consider someone who's not qualified but working towards NVQ 2.
- Full training provided.
