Prime Objectives of the post

- To provide focussed support for the most vulnerable students to enable them to become independent learners.
- To develop a caring and secure environment within a nurture room setting.
- To help maintain the high standards of behaviour, attitude and effort and to encourage pupils to play a full part in school life.
- To work closely with the SENCO to provide a safe social learning environment which allows pupils with SEN to develop the social and emotional resilience; giving them the life skills to be independent young people.
- To take a lead in support for students with AHD.
