Care Home Manager - MacDuff - GBP45k + Bonus + Generous Holiday entitlement

Our award winning quality focused client is now looking to recruit an experienced and caring Manager to oversee the management of this lovely modernised Care Home in the MacDuff area.

You will need to be qualified to level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent and ideally have a nursing background as this beautiful traditional rural care home is a 34 single bedded home which offers Nursing and Respite care with Specialist care, End of life and Palliative care services offered 24hrs. This lovely home is thoroughly modernised to a high standard giving light and brightness making it a delightful environment for residents and staff to enjoy along with a large garden giving plenty of good clean fresh air and relaxation

Our client is looking to recruit a Care Home Manager who has the experience of managing a care home business including the management of the entire facility from the kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance of the home ensuring health & safety are priority so you will need excellent budgetary management experience. You will need the skills to ensure the home is at full occupancy and have the experience of marketing the home and the services offered. Good business acumen is needed as well as business development experience.

This is a happy home for residents where individual care is paramount with a person centred approach; the home prides itself on delivering quality care to its residents. Staff are given excellent training and support with encouragement to develop their careers further.

You will need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, you will also need good IT skills, KPI experience and managing an entire care home facility is also required. A cheerful, approachable and enthusiastic management style with good humour is required along with confidence, a professional and caring attitude and strong leadership skills is essential.
