A leading supplier of precision components into the aerospace industry is seeking an Export Sales Manager to develop their sales revenues across continental Europe, liaising with some of the industrys biggest names. Focusing on countries including Germany, Switzerland and Austria, are you the person to grow this companies sales revenues in this region to the next level?

Scope of work
As Export Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing sales with this organisations biggest aerospace accounts across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe. You will be responsible for regularly engaging in customerfacing activity with customers across this region, managing their daily activities and generating new opportunities. It is important that you are willing to travel to this region on a regular basis in order to meet customers, generate RFQs and present bids/proposals.
When working from their Leicestershire facility, you will be tasked with managing daily account activity and identifying new opportunities. This role will also incorporate an element of new business development, using your market knowledge to identify new companies and contacts within the region in order to generate new business opportunities. Furthermore, as Export Sales Manager, it is important that you are able to manage each customer using the companies ERP system and work with internal stakeholders to compile competitive, worldclass bids and proposals.
With the role focusing on aerospace accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, it is critical that you are fluent in German and comfortable with international travel. It is also very important that you are able to report into their Leicestershire office on a daily basis when not away visiting customers.

You will:

Be fluent in German (both written and verbal communications)
Have a proven record selling into either aerospace, automotive or general engineering markets
Be willing to travel internationally to Germany, Austria and Switzerland as, and when, required
Be able to commute to the Leicestershire facility on a daily basis

Turning over GBP20m, the company is a leading supplier of precision components into the Aerospace industry, working with major OEMs including BAe Systems, Airbus and Bombardier. The business is implementing significant investment as it continues to grow its market share across the global Aerospace market.
