An established and expanding branded apparel company now have an exciting job opportunity for a merchandiser/ account manager.
Your new role
You will ensure the correct quality product is sourced at correct price with the correct lead-time. Acting as an efficient medium between customer and supplier enabling approvals on time and ensuring shipment and delivery to customer is on time. You will follow up any problems / quality issues which arise. Working with customers, designers and directors/salesman to develop enquiries and confirm orders with the customer. Furthermore you will update the internal critical path and order summary to allow purchase order chasing to take place. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with Buyers (customers) on the status of all the stages for each style and updating the customers required commitment sheets / critical path as required. You will also ensure the constant development of new product ranges which gives continuity to the business requirements and satisfies the customer needs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a confident communicator who is confident speaking with customers over the phone and face to face. You will ideally have experience working in a similar import merchandiser / account manager role within the fashion / apparel sector.
