Spencer Edwards are currently working on behalf of a prestigious IFA organisation with ambitious and progressive growth plans. They now have an opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer to join the company as head of the compliance team.
The successful individual will be responsible for governance, risk, compliance and regulatory issues in line with the requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority and other regulators. This a pivotal appointment and the as well as technical skills and experience, personality will be key as this individual must fit into the dynamic team ethos already established. This role will involve monitoring, reviewing and reporting results of the regulatory compliance, licensing requirements and compliance ethics.
The successful applicant will have previous experience working within a regulated Compliance role, ideally within the IFA sector and will have a thorough understanding of the requirements of the FCA.
This role would suit someone based in West Yorkshire looking to commute from Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Skipton or Huddersfield areas.
