This is an opportunity to join an established digital video game e-commerce operation. Every day thousands of gamers trust us with their game purchases and since launching in November 2012, they have sold over 40 million games in 200 countries. This operation is a division of a highly successful and ambitious business with a 20-year track record of profitability.
Due to their fast growth, they now have exciting expansion plans at their headquarters in Rugeley, Staffordshire. All positions are full-time and office-based. This is a unique opportunity to have an important marketing role within a dynamic, innovative company in the PC games industry.
They urgently require a driven Affiliate Marketing professional with an impressive track record, to own and grow their affiliate marketing channel.
Key responsibilities: -
- Responsibility for acquiring new affiliates and partners based on commission
- Creating and executing structured campaigns to build new relationships with influencers (eg Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Steam Community, VK, Weibo, etc), media partners, deal websites and more
- Overall responsibility of new customer acquisition from existing affiliates
- Managing and improving lead generation campaigns, measuring results
- Maintaining close daily relationships with key affiliate partners
- Aligning offers and campaigns with the other marketing channels
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting, showing progress versus targets
- Utilising online tools to positively identify prospects and maximise results
Required Skills and Capabilities: -
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
- A creative thinker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results-focused and highly numerate
- Work well within a team
- Excellent project management skills
- Able to meet and exceed a range of deadlines
- Dynamic and confident personality
- Eye for detail and meticulous
- Analytical skills
- Passion for gaming is a plus
Required Experience: -
- Strong hands-on experience within the affiliate marketing industry
- Exceptional skills within affiliate and partner management
- Degree or relevant qualification is preferable
- Understanding of current, effective marketing techniques
- Previous direct experience of affiliate marketing campaigns that delivered results, ideally for a B2C company selling to a global market
- Strong strategic, analytical and project management skills
- Keen interest in marketing research and best practice knowledge within affiliate marketing
- Proven ability to represent brand value effectively across marketing channels
- Experience of working effectively within a team, and with other departmental teams
- Knowledge of data analytics and processes
- An understanding/experience of any of the following would be an advantage; ShareaSale; Google Sheets; affiliate nexus tax laws in U.S. states
