New opportunity not to be missed! Centre Park Resources Limited have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our team based in Warrington. We are offering our Software Developer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000 per annum depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer to join Centre Park Resources Limited, part of the Sterling Group of Companies, which is one of the longest established contractor organisations in the UK.

Our primary business is the sub-contracting of employees employed through the Sterling Umbrella route within the construction industry as well as giving contractors the option to work through our self-employed routes.

We are recruiting for a Software Developer to take a leading role in the development of a new bespoke internal software system which will incorporate both desktop and online development.

The Software Developer  Role:

Reporting to the Senior Developer, the role will involve both working independently on the project and working to support a wider Software Development Team.

The Developer will need to be able to follow instructions with a clear understanding of deadlines.

All coding must comply with current in-house guides, be of a high standard and would be subject to regular reviews by a Senior Developer.

Ability to pre-test work before submission for testing is essential.

Upon completion of the initial project the role will continue as general in-house Development position which will include support/maintenance of the completed applications.

Software Developer key duties will include:

- Development using Visual Studio C# .Net

- Writing scalable / dynamic / clean code to allow continued growth of the internal applications.

- Extracting data from SQL, XML, JSON and other data sources as required

- Debugging problems efficiently to resolve issues

- Creating efficient data queries for use by the applications

Our ideal Software Developer will have:

- Skills in C# .Net, LINQ / Entity Framework and SQL Server are essential for the role

- Experience of ASP.NET, HTML and JavaScript an advantage

- Proven experience in a fast paced, pressurised role

- Ability to work to deadlines whilst retaining accuracy

- Ability to prioritise workload and juggle multiple tasks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal manner.

- Ability to work on own initiative and within a small team

- 2/3 years commercial experience of developing C# and SQL Server is essential

Software Developer Hours of Work: Flexible between the hours of  8:00 – 18:00, and may occasionally require some additional hours outside of these times. Standard working week is 38.5 hours Mon – Fri.
