Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Production Operatives to join a well-established company that specialises in moulded plastic components, providing the highest quality of service to the UK’s leading organisations. Based in Brandesburton, East Yorkshire, the successful Production Operatives will earn a competitive salary depending on experience and the shifts they work. There are both weekend shifts and night shift opportunities available.

Day shifts – Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 6am £8.03 per hour with a weekly shift allowance of £45 for days and £90 for night shift.

Weekend shifts – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6am to 6pm, £12.00 per hour for 36 hours.

As a Production Operative you will be a key member of this expanding, successful, privately owned business. Your main duties, will include but not be limited to:
  • Assembling components to create finished products and sub-assembles
  • Assisting in meeting the production schedule
  • Ensuring all products are manufactured to the correct quality standard
  • Providing feedback to Supervisor/Manager as part of our continuous improvement
To be considered for the Production Operative position the successful candidate will possess the following key skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a production environment
  • Demonstrable use of hand tools & power tools
  • Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
  • Ability to understand mechanical diagrams and follow assembly drawings
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work alone
  • Capable of decision making
  • Previous experience of vacuum thermoforming, injection moulding and CNC operation are an advantage.
  • Problem solving skills with a pragmatic common sense attitude
