Bookkeeper

KRB is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating in Kent and the South East. We work within the Accountancy Practice, Taxation and Payroll sectors, and also for clients of those practices for Financial Controllers and Managers. Over the last five years, we have worked on behalf of Top 20 practices, mid-sized firms, independent Kent firms and start-up businesses employing their first member of staff.

In this practice of Chartered Accountants, you will be working as a bookkeeper with clients to bring together their manual and accounting system records to the trial balance/ draft statutory accounts level. This important work will take place at client premises and within the practice's Ashford office.

In addition, as a bookkeeper, you be preparing and filing VAT returns and Companies House statutory returns. There is a wide variety of clients: sole-traders, partnerships, limited companies, and groups/ associates of companies. All requiring the knowledge and accuracy of an experienced bookkeeper.

To be considered for this vacancy, you will require previous experience of bookkeeping, preferably gained by working within a practice of accountants. Good accounting IT software knowledge, and ideally cloud based software is necessary.
