About The Front End Developer (Front End, JavaScript) role:
Based in Leeds City Centre Offices, the IT Development team builds and supports applications and systems for the exchange and management of health and social data. We're big fans of agile development and use it extensively to deliver first rate software products to internal users and national NHS customers.

As a specialist team we pride ourselves in being able to couple technical excellence in software development and operations with a strong understanding of our customer's needs, working very closely with them to deliver what they need.

Requirements of the Front End Developer (Front End, JavaScript):
Significant experience in the following areas is essential:

•Experience in JavaScript andor TypeScript
•Experience in Angular 1 andor 2+
•Experience in unit and e2e testing using a modern framework
•Experience in HTML5 and CSS3 using a modern framework
•Experience in responsive design
•Understanding of web standards and browser compatibility
•Desirable:
•SOLID principles
•Continuous Integration and Deployment
•Agile methodologies
•Bonus:
•RxJs
•Redux
•SCSS

About You:
You will be a highly motivated individual, able to self-manage and motivate your fellow team members and work effectively within a team, in a dynamic and challenging business environment. You will keep up to date with the fast moving world of front end development and bring in best practices.

The Front End Developer (Front End, JavaScript):

You will be involved working alongside a team of developers to support and maintain a large portfolio of systems. You will be responsible for the on-going development of systems. These systems are high profile and of national importance. You will work on greenfield projects using Angular 2+ and existing Angular 1.x projects. You will write small, tested, performant, re-usable web components using the latest technologies.
