National Account Executive - Catering & Vending

We are currently working on an exclusive retained basis with one of the fastest growing confectionery companies in the UK. We currently have a requirement for a National Account Manager to join their team.

With over 100 years of manufacturing our client is one of the UK's best loved confectionery manufacturers, well known for their four most iconic brands, Fox's, XXX Mints, Poppets and Just Brazils, with over 900 employees across their 2 UK sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager/Senior National Account Manager to assume responsibility for their major customer accounts.

Role/Responsibilities

• Build and manage strong relationships with existing and new clients
• Agree/Negotiate sales prices and product ranges
• Promote new products
• Maximising sales and profit growth across all managed accounts
• Drive sales whilst managing cost against budget
• Work with the NPD team to ensure all new lines have a maximum impact on launch

The Individual

•  Management of national accounts within the Catering and Vending sectors
•  Solid experience in sales and negotiation within Food/FMCG environment
•  Private Label and Brand experience
•  Demonstrate a record of managing key customers within a food business
•  Excellent communication and relationship building skills
•  Confident, Motivated and determined to achieve goals
•  Excellent organisational and time management skills
•  Capable of interpreting and delivering on business objectives
•  Experience of developing in-depth knowledge about products and services

You will be a National Account Executive from a food manufacturing background with a proven track record of achievement within the sector.

In return for meeting the above criteria the successful candidates will be rewarded with a competitive salary of circa GBP35,000 + Car + Benefits.
