Payments and Operations Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Payments and Operations manager to join a long running Financial Service establishment in the East Midlands area, and be part of leading the team across various regulatory and operational requirements. You must have a strong background within payments (in particular PSD2) and possess a history of leading and supervising an operations team whilst providing continuous updates with senior stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most historic banks who believe in traditional values and putting their clients needs first.

Key Skills:

- Proven experience within payments industry

- Strong knowledge of banking procedures - compliance and derivatives (PSD2)

- Be able to communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders

- Strong leadership and delegation skills

The Role:

- Support Operations manager with daily and strategic activities

- Monitor the team and process resource levels

- Ensure customer expectations are met through quality of service

- Support recruitment and interview process

- Evaluate operational risk and processes

- Develop and maintain knowledge of systems and procedures

- Manage incident and resolution management and support internal and external client relations

- Oversee training plans

- Ensure Service Delivery is met to SLA
