Accountant/Trainee Accountant

 Duties include the preparation of statutory and management accounts from primary records in accordance with GAAP, posting and filing the same with the relevant authorities. As part of the role you will be required to process purchase ledger and sales ledger entries, performing bank reconciliations, payroll duties, posting journals, preparing the fixed asset register, performing accruals and prepayments,preparing VAT returns and tax computations and anything else which is required for this role.

The ideal candidate will be studying/qualified with ACCA/CPA/ICAEW  or be a recent graduate with a degree in a related field. Previous finance experience, whilst not essential, will be advantageous. Personality and attitude will be key for this role – the business is seeking confident individuals that are eager to learn, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders and motivated in terms of their long-term career goals.
