We are recruiting for our Clients in the Basildon, Canvey Island & Southend areas highly skilled & experienced Skilled & Semi Skilled Engineers - Trades
Plater Fabs
Working from engineering drawings, fabrication of heavy plate & structural steel work. Measuring, marking out, cutting, prepping ready for drilling, machining and welding, as required.
Fabricator Welders
Working from engineering drawings, fabrication of heavy plate & structural steel work. Measuring, marking out, cutting, prepping ready for drilling, machining and welding, as required.
Welding to coded specs mainly with MIG, some MMA if required.
Semi - Skilled Fabs
Working from engineering drawings, fabrication of heavy plate & structural steel work. Assisting skilled trades, with cutting, prepping, grinding, drilling, as required.
Fitting of steel frames and checking they are correct to drawings, then stripping down, ready for dispatch. Moving materials from the Fab Shop to Stores Areas.
Manual Millers & Turners, Toolmakers, for Canvey Island & Basildon areas.
Working on machining of components from drawings to tight tolerances.
Using Mills or Lathes with Manual controls.
Also using Grinding Machines to grind components
Also Boring & Drilling Machines
Completing routine QC checks.
Skilled Trades
There will also be the strong likelihood of working extra overtime where required. Term of Work = 6 - 12 weeks plus
Pay = Days Skilled GBP12.50 + per hr 40 hrs basic, then O/T at GBP14.50 + per hr
Lates Skilled GBP13.75 + per hr, 40 hr basic, then O/T at GBP15.50 + per hr
Nights Skilled GBP15.00 + per hr, 40 hr basic, then O/T at GBP17.00 + per hr
Depending on experience, skills, quals etc, based on all hours Mon - Fri
Quals = C & G NVQ Welding Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering, able to work from engineering drawings
Semi- Skilled Trades
Hours of Work = Days = 0600 to 1430 Mon to Fri or Lates =(Apply online only) Mon - Fri. Nights (Apply online only) Mon - Thu There will also be the strong likelihood of working extra overtime where required. Term of Work = 6 to 26 weeks plus
Pay = Days Semi Skilled GBP8.50 - GBP10.50. + per hr or Lates GBP9.50 - GBP12 + per hr,
