You will have experience in managing Profit and Loss, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.As a Deputy Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate passion and energy to deputise in the absence of the General Manager and lead the team. Main responsibilities include,Conduct appraisals and produce development plans for team leader and team members; develop team members to team leader positionAssist the general manager to train, coach mentor and motivate team membersIn the general managers absence, attend area meetings and feedback any relevant information to the management team and team membersDeal with team member performance issues and escalate where appropriateHold pre-session briefings as and when appropriateTake responsibility for own trainingHave knowledge and understanding of competitor activity and assist with implementing and driving promotionsUnderstand the pub's budget and manage expenditure accordinglyDemonstrate good understanding of the P&LLead by example to ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service are delivered by the team at all timesService and standards are implemented and adhered to by team.In return, we can offer you a competitive Deputy Manager package with an uncapped bonus scheme, an award winning development programme along with some great incentives.
