St John Cymru Wales is Wales' leading first aid charity. With over 4000 volunteers, we provide emergency first aid, deliver medical cover at events and train people of all ages in vital first aid skills so they can make a difference in times of need.
As the Donor Development Officer you will be responsible for developing and managing individual giving opportunities for St John Cymru Wales to maximise supporter recruitment, engagement and retention. Managing our Individual Giving programme, which includes door to door, face to face, direct mail and legacies, you will play a crucial role in achieving our ambitious new fundraising targets in order to support organisational growth.
We're looking for someone with proven experience of developing and managing successful individual giving campaigns to recruit, develop and retain donors and generate income from individual supporters. You will have strong analytical skills with extensive experience of CRM databases. You should have an in-depth knowledge of fundraising campaign practices, including project management, copy editing, data briefing, online cultivation, print production and managing external agencies. A sound understanding of supporter care techniques and regulatory obligations is essential. Experience of using online platforms and social media platforms for fundraising would be desirable.
