We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can work effectively on a 1:1 basis with an individual pupil in a Northwich primary school.
This role will involve working closely with a Year 1 pupil with behavioural issues, striving to improve their engagement with the curriculum and overall attainment. Applicants for this position must be flexible and able to adapt their support to suit the varying needs of the child. Key skills for this role include patience, excellent behaviour management, and strong communication. Additionally, although not required, a SEND-specific qualification such as Team-Teach or Makaton is beneficial.
In order to apply for this position, it is essential that you have a Level 2 or higher support qualification and at least 6 months of previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary environment (ideally working 1:1 with a pupil).
