Northumberland College has two main campuses at Ashington and Kirkley Hall and centres at Hexham and Berwick.

We offer hundreds of full-time and part-time courses, work with students aged 14-18, mature students, higher education students and employers from numerous industry sectors.

We are seeking to employ a full time lecturer in Countryside management to lead, teach and assess our students working towards their level two and three qualification in Countryside management and Game and Wildlife management. The successful candidate will have a real passion for all the aspects of countryside management including environmental conservation, interpretation and wildlife management.

They will have the necessary drive and enthusiasm along with proven capability to grow the provision here at our Kirkley Hall campus. They will work with internal and external partners to ensure that their students gain the best possible education and practical experiences from their time here at the college.

They will lead a small course team including tutors and instructors teaching and managing a wide range of students.

The will have excellent communication, organisational and teaching skills along with a high level of experience, current knowledge and skills in countryside management and education. They will be based at our Kirkley Hall campus within 200 acre estate consisting of farmland woodland and other habitats.
