Hourly Paid Lecturers in Travel and Aviation - West Herts College

The School of Sport, Public Services, Science and Travel are looking for two enthusiastic and flexible people to join our successful team on a fixed term basis until June 2018.

We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners. Teaching experience within the Tourism sector is desirable, although we are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills.

You will be teaching across a range of Travel & Tourism and Aviation programmes. The right candidates will be capable of developing a wide range of learning materials which engage and stimulate students. You should have a good level of industry experience that can be shared within the classroom environment.

You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, working in our well-equipped facilities at our Watford campus and should be equally comfortable teaching practical and theory sessions.

The team and our students already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.

The successful candidates must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team and will be working approximately up to 18 hours per week.

You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
