Our client is a market leader in the sale of laboratory equipment, consumables, supplies and instrumentation to the life science, pharmaceutical & laboratory research. They are seeking a confident Account Manager for their established South West and South Wales Territory.

This is a field based face-to-face selling role with a focus on account management and new business development, both within existing customer accounts and with new clients.

You will be expected to travel extensively, spending 4 days per week visiting clients and customers across the Bristol, Bath and Cardiff areas, but also Gloucestershire and the wider South West / South Wales regions.

Requirements:

Life Sciences background, degree level preferred.

Laboratory experience gained in a life sciences setting, either in academia or a more commercial setting.

Proven sales experience in a relevant field such as laboratory consumables / capital equipment would be an advantage.

Candidates with exceptional laboratory experience looking for a first step into sales also considered.

Strong understanding of the Laboratory market in the UK, particularly in the South West / South Wales regions.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Candidate already lives in Bristol, Bath, Cardiff or surrounding area with easy access to major roads.
