Hays Accountancy and Finance are being retained to recruit for a leading Global Manufacturing Organisation based Gloucestershire for a hand-on and experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader. A great opportunity offering progression and development working with a busy and dynamic Accounts Payable Department. Your key focus is to ensure the team processes all supplier invoices received on a timely basis, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager you will effectively manage the daily work flow of the team ensuring high productivity, coaching and motivating the Accounts Payable Officers along with conducting weekly review meetings and working with the Senior Management on process improvement projects for the department. This role is very hands-on so you will be expected to process index and key invoices, validate approval against authority limits, resolve complex invoice queries, reconcile vendor statements along with debit balance analysis and obtaining cost centres.

For this exciting Accounts Payable Team Leader role it is essential you have experience within a similar position with working knowledge of SAP (preferable OCR) and strong MS Excel skills. Key communication skills are very important to build relationships with internal/external customers along with having previously supervised/mentored finance team members. It would be advantageous if you have worked within an Shared Service Environment previously and have additional language skills (French, Spanish, Italian, German).

This permanent hands-on Accounts Payable Team Leader role is offering a salary of GBP24,000 - GBP28,000 per annum with competitive benefits and on-site parking.
