We are seeking new team members for our Contact Centres in Bishops Cleeve; full training is provided in a lively and supportive environment. (No selling/cold calling involved!)

What does the role involve?
You'll be part of a wider team of around 70 people in total, split into different teams depending on which financial products you specialise in.
Your role will be to answer phone calls about the product(s) you are trained in (i.e. Pensions, Life Assurance, Bonds) which could be from the policyholder themselves, or from other professionals such as financial advisors. Queries could range from anything such as a valuation of their plan, through to complex policy queries, or helping to resolve problems.
You will use different computer systems to retrieve relevant information, as well as liaising with other departments to get updates and come to solutions for the customer.
Other role information:
This role is full time- 37.5 hours per week and is subject to shifts, which you receive notification of 3 weeks in advance. On weekdays, the earliest start time is 8am, with a latest finish of 6.30pm, and some teams are required to work Saturdays 9:30am-12:30pm (around once in every 3 weeks). You'll be based at our Bishops Cleeve office, which is serviced by public transport, and you can apply for onsite car parking.
To be a successful candidate, you will need:
- GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English Language at grade C or above
- Excellent telephone manner
- Experience within a customer service role
- An ability to listen and accurately record information
- Fast and accurate keyboard skills
- A willingness to train for the role; your first 3-4 weeks with us will include financial services regulatory training, product training, complaints handling and receiving mentoring before you go live on the phones on your own
- To be computer literate and confident; including experience using Microsoft Office programs
